Jewelry Metalsmithing: Beginner Course

About

Welcome to BKMW: Jewelry is the studio's eight-week, three-hours-a-week starting point for adults (18 and over) new to the bench, covering sawing, filing, forming and soldering along with the basics of jewellery design. The next sections start Thursday 22 October, 11am–2pm, running to 17 December, and Sunday 1 November, 11am–2pm, running to 20 December, at Brooklyn Metal Works, 640 Dean St in Prospect Heights, a short walk from Bergen St (2, 3). Tuition is $620 now that the $580 early-bird rate (through 30 September) has closed, with a supply kit sold separately. Finishing it qualifies you for the studio's Jewelry 2: Hollow Forms and Riveting, which we also list on Thursday evenings this term.
