Oktoberfest Pumpkin Jamboree in Hammarskjold Plaza, Midtown Manhattan

Oktoberfest Autumn Jamboree returns to Dag Plaza with face painting, pumpkin decorating and bowling, crafts, carnival games and prizes. Revel in the atmosphere of a country farm among scarecrows, hay bales, cornstalks and pumpkins with Halloween costumes on parade. The park's Taskin Cafe offers food and drink for sale with open-mike karaoke staged on the adjacent raised platform. The garden is open with a self-guided story-book tour for kids.Win prizes contributed by neighborhood eateries: The Alexander Restaurant (Mediterranean seafood), Ten Ichi Mart (Japanese grocery) and Benniebop (Korean rice bowls and kimchi) plus Halloween giveaways, treats and sweets.Our community partners include the Japan Society, the New York Lawn Bowling Club, Karaoke Duet, Taskin Cafe and The Family School with special thanks to the Vanderbilt YMCA and Trader Joe’s.
