Cooper Hewitt director Maria Nicanor interviews Mattaforma, the 2026 National Design Award winner in the Emerging Designer category, in an evening talk at the museum. At 2 East 91st Street, near the 86 St 4/5/6 station; Monday, November 16, 6–7:30pm. Tickets are $25 adult, $12 educator, senior, student or visitor with disabilities, and $10 for members. It is the first of two National Design Award director's talks on our calendar this month; the second, with fashion designer Josh Tafoya, follows on November 19.
