Mark West: Seeing Things, Pareidolia and the Discovery of Form

About

Montréal-based artist and former architecture professor Mark West talks about a practice built on finding form rather than controlling it: drawing from pareidolia (seeing figures in random shapes), form-finding with flexible materials, and sculpture. Thursday, November 12, 6:30–8:30 pm in Room 315F of the Foundation Building, 7 E 7th St (Astor Pl 6), with a Q&A. It's free with registration, or on Zoom. It's one of nine free Cooper Union talks on our calendar between now and mid-November.
