Mending and Repair Night
About
Bring a sweater with holes, a worn sock or a frayed sleeve and fix it with the museum's supplies and tools, patching, darning and stitching alongside other menders. At the Museum of Arts and Design, 2 Columbus Circle (A/B/C/D/1 to 59 St–Columbus Circle). Free with museum admission, 6–8 pm on Wednesday 7 October and Wednesday 4 November 2026; advance registration recommended, drop-ins welcome. Most of the textile listings on our calendar teach making from scratch, so this is one of the few aimed at repairing what you already own.
