About

A free after-school design workshop for high-school students only (no adults), who build physical mood boards from upholstery swatches, paint chips and found objects to express a theme or concept; materials and snacks are included and no experience is needed. It takes place in the wheelchair-accessible Lecture Room at Cooper Hewitt, 2 East 91st Street, near 86th St (4, 5, 6). Thursday, December 3, 2026, 4:30 to 6:30 pm; free with Eventbrite registration. Our calendar has only four upcoming kids-and-teens listings in Upper Manhattan, and this is the only one aimed exclusively at teenagers.
