Fall Festival at Victory Field
About
Fall Festival at Victory Field is a free community celebration in Forest Park, Queens, sponsored by Councilmember Joann Ariola and The Forest Park Trust. The listing welcomes everyone to the autumn with games, entertainment, pumpkins and more, so it is aimed at families and neighbours, and you can drop in for as long as you like. The festival takes place on Saturday 17 October from noon to 3pm at Victory Field. Our listing marks it as free, and no registration, ticket or age limit is printed. The event is outdoors, so check the NYC Parks listing for weather updates before you leave, and dress in layers for an autumn afternoon. Forest Park is in Queens. No subway or bus directions are printed in our record, so use a journey planner for Victory Field and allow time for the walk within the park. Several other park fall festivals take place on the same Saturday: Springfield Park's festival also begins at noon, as does the one at Kaiser Park, and J. Hood Wright Park runs a fall festival with the Hallowscream Fright Walk. Dyckman House Museum holds its Fall Festival at 10am. Juniper Valley Park and Wayanda Park follow on Saturday 24 October.
