After School Youth Recreation
About
After School Youth Recreation is a free programme for children aged six to twelve in Classroom A at Lost Battalion Hall Recreation Center in Rego Park, Queens. After school, young people play various sports, compete in board games and join an assortment of group games, giving them a supervised place to be active or to settle into a game with friends. The programme meets on Monday to Thursday afternoons from 2:30pm. This listing is for Wednesday 14 October, and it is a shorter session than most, running from 2:30pm to 4pm. Our listing marks it as free. No registration, membership or sign-in policy is printed, so ask the centre how sign-in works before the first visit. No subway or bus directions are printed in our record, so use a journey planner for the Rego Park address. Wednesday is a busy day at the centre: Rhythm Ride indoor cycling is on at 11am, NYC Parks Chair Aerobics is on at 12:30pm, and this after-school session follows at 2:30pm. After School Youth Recreation appears eight times on the calendar between 12 and 22 October, with the other Wednesday on 21 October.
