After School Youth Recreation

About

After School Youth Recreation is a free afternoon programme for children aged six to twelve at Lost Battalion Hall Recreation Center in Rego Park, Queens. Based in Classroom A, it gives children a place to play different sports, take on other kids in board games and join group games once school is out. The mix of movement and table games makes it a good fit for children who like variety. It runs on weekday afternoons, Monday to Thursday, from 2:30pm. This listing is for Tuesday 13 October, from 2:30pm to 5pm. Our listing marks the programme as free, and no registration, membership or drop-off policy is printed, so ask the centre staff how sign-in works before you leave a child there. No subway or bus directions are printed in our record, so use a journey planner for the Rego Park address. You will find eight sessions of this programme on the calendar between 12 and 22 October, and the same Tuesday also has Powerhouse Fitness at 10:30am at the centre. If your child enjoys sports, the Youth Sports Club meets on Saturday mornings in the gymnasium, and the centre lists a Family Time session on Saturdays at 11am.
