Join the garden group at 6th Street & Avenue B Garden to help plant daffodil bulbs in their kids garden and enjoy a warming cup of borscht cooked up by Chef Michael! This is a delicious recipe that will warm your tummy and spirits while you plant daffodil bulbs, and each family will take home a recipe card so you can also cook this soup yourselves this winter. We'll have recipe cards available for some of the other fantastic dishes you cooked this year, too! This will be the last chance we'll have to get together this year, as the gardening season draws to a close. Please RSVP to sixbgarden@gmail.com, so we know how much borscht to make!Thank you to all our Junior Chefs who participated in the 2026 planting, crop raising, harvesting and cooking events at the Sixth Street & Avenue B Garden. Hope to see you on Sunday 10/18! We'll be in the garden rain or shine! In the spring, we will all enjoy the burst of color from the flowers that you will plant, and we hope that you'll drop by again to see them in bloom.
