A half-day hands-on lab for aspiring freelance florists on caring for, conditioning and identifying flowers, paired with the time-management and prioritization skills freelancers need; no arrangements are made. Held at FlowerSchool New York, 253 W 28th St, 7th Floor, in the Chelsea flower district, one block from the 1 train at 28th St. Monday, October 26, 10 AM to 1 PM; $200.00 plus a $5.00 service fee. Of the 15 approved upcoming floral listings on our calendar, this is the first aimed at people entering the trade rather than hobbyists.
