Greenwich House has been teaching pottery in a West Village townhouse since 1909, and this is the course most people start with: centring, pulling walls, trimming, glazing, taught over a full autumn term. The Fall 2026 schedule runs it in more than a dozen sections across the Jones Street and Chelsea studios — mornings, afternoons and 6:45pm evenings, twelve or thirteen weeks from $935, with shorter six- and seven-week blocks from $470.
