Handbuilding is pottery without the wheel — pinch, coil and slab — and Greenwich House teaches it in as many sections as it teaches throwing. Twelve- and thirteen-week terms from $935, plus shorter four-, six- and seven-week blocks from $310, across the West Village and Chelsea studios. The four-week Sep/Oct/Nov blocks are the cheapest way into a school that usually asks for a whole term.
